hey bruce… glad to hear it. unlike the CS3 updates i’ve been doing for the scripts on this site, the updated DV Rebel Tools script should work in both 7 and CS3, just that in CS3 you can have it work as either a floating palette (by choosing the script from the File > Scripts > Run Script File menu command) or dockable panel (by choosing it from the Window menu).
unlike mark’s book which is targeted for CS3, stu’s book still needs to apply to AE 7 users, so i couldn’t create CS3-only script. no big deal, as the changes were minimal. it was actually one of the first ones i converted to support CS3.
