i tweaked rd: Shapes to Masks based on a suggestion from nab. it should do a better (automatic) job of dealing with cutting out holes in masks for letters like ‘g’ and ‘o’. let me know if you encounter any problematic characters. [hat tip: nab, for the peer review]
