elasticreality.com

The elasticreality.com site (available as a standalone site from 1996 to 2000) was the main customer support site for the Avid® Elastic Reality® warping, morphing, and special effects software. The site included product information, FAQ, tips and techniques, release notes, demo downloads and utilities, and a registration form.

Elastic Reality is a cross-platform software package available for IRIX® (Silicon Graphics®), Windows®, and Mac® OS operating systems. The software has been so widely used in the film and video industries that its core technology was recognized with a Technical Achievement Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in 1996. The software is still being sold today.
